- What is the difference between selling and consigning? When you consign with us, we provide a full white glove service in acquiring the customer, vetting them and then storing, shipping, and handling of the timepiece. For this we take a small percentage of that final sale price and so we are highly motivated to get you the best possible number. When you sell to us, we make an offer on your watch within 48 hours based on the market price; it is a much faster turnaround, but the quote will be based on our ability and margin in reselling the timepiece.
- How do you determine how much my watch is worth? We determine how much your watch is worth by the market value, what the timepiece is being offered for between dealers (not just by what they are being listed for online), and how in demand the watch is. Our buying experts will take everything into account when quoting you the best deal.
- Can I sell or trade multiple watches? Yes, you can sell or trade as many watches as you want.
- If I trade my watch, how long will it take for me to receive my new timepiece? There is a fast turnaround when it comes to receiving your new timepiece. First, we send you a label for you to mail us your timepiece. When we receive and approve it, then we can ship out your new timepiece. If the trade is under what the new timepiece is worth, you will get the remaining amount in the form of a money wire.
- What watches will you not accept into your consignment program? While it is up to the discretion of our professional sales team to decide which timepieces can be accepted into our consignment program, we do accept most luxury brands.
- What forms of payment do you accept? We accept money wire, bank checks, and crypto. You can also pay in monthly installments using Affirm. We do NOT accept cash.
- Is there a fee to consign my watch? Yes - 10% of the final sale, excluding taxes and fees.
